As part of the Big Band Workshop, I’ll be teaching a four-day course for all string players. You’ll learn how to improvise or expand your improvisation skills, and deepen your harmonic understanding. We’ll also focus on jazz phrasing with the bow, as well as chopping.

In addition, we’ll work in various ensemble settings and take part in the nightly jam sessions.
